2010 = twenty ten. Not two thousand ten.
Happy New Year! 😀
In the words of Brian Williams on the news tonight, “Twenty-Ten: A total net savings of one word, one syllable, and five letters.”
I like ‘Twenty-ten’ as opposed to the alternative, although both sound a little nerdy to me. The worst one I’ve heard so far has been “oh ten”. Seriously people? You don’t say, “it’s ten oh ten.”!! So why should the year be any different?
Anyway. I will get off my soapbox now, seeing as you didn’t come here in dire need of a lecture.
Last night I stayed over at a very good friend’s house… Oh, twas wonderful to be among such lovely company. 🙂 We had a great time. Anddd we watched Up, which was the second time I’ve seen that movie. I forgot how good it was! Sad, sure, but I love the humor in that movie.
